PRIVACY POLICY
OFFSET: Endless for Android
Effective: 21 July 2026
1. Scope and Controller
This privacy policy applies exclusively to the Android application „OFFSET: Endless“ (hereinafter referred to as the „App“).
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with this App is:
Christian HuberOdenwaldstraße 24
69124 Heidelberg
Germany
[email protected]
2. Local Game Data
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device:
- Game progress and save states
- High scores and best chain values
- Current run state
- Audio, control, and accessibility settings
None of this data is transmitted to Christian Huber. The local storage is technically necessary for the App to function (e.g., to resume your game after closing the App). You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App’s data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Android Cloud Backup and device-to-device transfer have been disabled for this App, meaning your local data will not be backed up by Google’s Android backup services.
3. Advertising through Google AdMob
This App displays interstitial advertisements and optional rewarded video ads. These ads are served by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited). Depending on your region and your consent choices, the following categories of data may be processed by Google and its advertising partners:
- IP address and derived approximate location
- Advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID, Apple IDFA, or equivalent)
- Device identifiers (e.g., Android ID)
- App and ad interaction data (e.g., ad views, clicks, time spent)
- Diagnostic and crash data
Purposes: Ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and security. Personalised advertising is only used where legally permitted and with your consent.
Recipients: Google and the advertising partners disclosed in Google’s consent dialog. Depending on your region and your consent choices, you may receive personalised, non-personalised, or limited ads.
Legal basis: Your consent (where required by applicable law); necessary security and fraud-prevention processing only to the extent permitted by law.
International transfers: Your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on standard contractual clauses or other recognised transfer mechanisms as required by applicable law.
For more information, refer to:
4. Privacy Choices
Before ad requests are sent, the App presents Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) dialog to obtain your consent where required by law. You can review and change your choices at any time by opening Settings → Privacy Options inside the App.
The App remains fully playable even if you decline consent for advertising purposes – no functionality is blocked.
This privacy policy itself does not load any consent-dependent scripts or resources, in accordance with AdMob’s policy URL requirements.
5. Google Play Games
The App offers optional sign-in to Google Play Games. When you choose to sign in, your integer „Longest Chain“ high score is submitted to the Google Play Games leaderboard. This data is associated by Google with your Play Games profile.
The App does not operate its own user account system nor its own leaderboard backend. You can use the App without signing in to Google Play Games; no feature is locked behind authentication.
Legal basis: Performance of the leaderboard functionality you are using (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Management and deletion of data processed through Google Play Games are handled via your Google Account settings and the Google Play Games app.
6. Permissions and Other Services
The App requires only internet access. It does not access:
- Precise location
- Contacts
- Camera or microphone
- Photos, media, or files
The App contains no in-app purchases and does not operate its own analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting system.
As the platform provider, Google Play may independently process download, device, payment, and diagnostic data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.
7. Children
This App and its advertising have not been configured as directed at children. The App is intended for users aged 16 years and older. Ad content is restricted to at most a „Teen“ rating level.
8. Retention, Your Rights, and Complaints
Retention: Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google’s policies and your account settings.

There are no automated individual decision-making processes, including profiling, carried out by Christian Huber.
9. Policy Updates
Any changes to this privacy policy will be published in the App before or together with an App version that alters its data processing practices. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
